Valentine’s Day Menu: Bean and pineapple salad

Prices are skyrocketing like a cheetah on the savannah, and it doesn’t contribute to a romantic Valentine’s evening out.

How to make it romantic and Valentine’s-like without spending a fortune? Buy candles, a sexy scent, roses (the more, the better), scattered in vases, dinner, a bit of wine…
Or breakfast… if we make Valentine’s Day romantic for ourselves, we don’t have to limit ourselves to dinner; we can spend the whole day romantically and lovingly. Of course, the right menu is needed for this.

My first proposal is a bean and pineapple salad. Salads are perfect as an appetizer before the main course or as part of a brunch, a romantic Valentine’s dinner.

INGREDIENTS:
Kidney beans 1 can/240 g, see Notes
Pickled celery 190 g, see Variations
Canned pineapple 140 g
Smoked tofu 100 g
Capers 60 g
Dried raisins 50 g
Mustard 30 g
Avocado oil 20 g
Maple syrup 15 ml/1.5 tablespoons, see Notes

PREPARATION:
If you have pineapple slices or fresh pineapple, cut them into fairly large pieces.
Grate the smoked tofu on a grater with large holes.
