New Collective Agreement in the Hotel Industry in Hesse: The new collective agreement in the hotel industry in Hesse provides for wage increases of 12% in two stages by July next year and a starting salary of at least 3000 euros gross for skilled workers.
Wages Rising in the Hotel and Catering Industry in Saxony: Wage increases of 18% by June 1, 2026, and two additional vacation days in 2024.
Fruit and Vegetable Industry in North Rhine-Westphalia: Workers will receive a wage increase of 185 euros per month from June 1, 2024. From April 1, 2025, there will be another 3.5% increase for all. Employees will also receive an inflation allowance of 400 euros.
Bakery Industry in North Rhine-Westphalia: Wages will increase by 5% for all employees from August 1, 2024. From May 1, 2025, wages will increase by another 70 euros (full-time). Additionally, employees will receive an inflation allowance of 180 euros.
Warning Strikes in Lunedeich, Bremerhaven: At the Frosta and Iglo frozen food factories in northern Germany, workers are demanding wage increases of 500 euros.
